Rio Vista Park
I drove down to San Antonio this afternoon, and stopped at Rio Vista Park in San Marcos. It was a beautiful afternoon and there were several kayakers out having fun in the artificial rapids. It made for a great rest stop before continuing my trip to San Antonio.
Brushy Creek Trail
I walked a portion of a new hike and bike path today. It is called Brushy Creek Trail and it began for me where it intersects A. W. Grimes Blvd. The path is wide and paved as you head East from the Rabb House or Play for All Abilities Park, and there are some shady trees along the way.
Sunflowers
There is an Electric Garden in Austin with fifteen solar collecting Sunflowers. The solar photovoltaic panels collect energy throughout the day and provide a unique display of art. At night, the stems light up and use a portion of the energy collected to make the Electric Sunflower Garden look really cool.
Georgetown Lights
They started wrapping the trees on the Georgetown Square in lights. They look awesome. Happy Thanksgiving, y’all! 🙂

Someone added a smiley face to the dollar I received in change today. That was nice of them to help cheer up the universe.
San Gabriel River
These were the scenes on both sides of me as I crossed the footpath on the San Gabriel River while walking in Georgetown this evening. The weather was perfect for a walk.

Via Colori! Please go to this festival if you ever have the opportunity. The streets of the Theater District in Downtown Houston were blocked off and filled with people, sunshine, music, food, drink, and some incredible chalk art. 🙂
Downtown Houston
The Theater District in Downtown Houston is awesome. I walked around the area today with my head up in the sky admiring the tall building architecture on display.
