The bluebonnet fields were cool. The views of downtown from St. Edward’s University were nice. But the ladybugs posing for photos were by far the best.

St. Edward’s University – Bluebonnets
There are many fields of Bluebonnets here. People were photographing their babies, their dogs, their whole family units, and of course taking selfies with the Texas State Flowers. My strategy was to find a quiet field and take a seat on the ground to enjoy the flowers and their awesome fragrances.
St. Edward’s University – Austin Views
As I mentioned, the views of downtown Austin are very nice from the hills of St. Edward’s University.
St. Edward’s University – Main Building
On this cloudy, overcast day, I took a walk around St. Edward’s University. The campus is on a hill overlooking Austin and has some scenic views of downtown along with some very lovely fields of Bluebonnets. The Main Building was constructed in 1888 on the highest elevation point on campus, and it makes for some nice photos from any vantage point around campus.
