It turns out that I am an Origami Master. Those three beautiful black butterflies were all created by me. Give it a try and test your skills with a square sheet of paper. The event today was called the 1,000 Cranes Origami Festival. It was a great idea for an event, and the Asian American Resource Center was packed with other skilled Origami Artists working their magic.

I love origami. i have a Japanese friend who makes incredible things out of paper. It’s a great hobby for those with a little patience and whom are less mobile. What a great event! 🙂

I am not very good with art projects, but for some reason origami is fun for me. This event was awesome and I met some interesting people from Japan as a bonus.
