Illectric River – Balloonski
The Illectric River Festival even had balloon art. The team from Balloonski was working hard. Pretty soon the whole festival was filled with creative balloons.

The Illectric River Festival was also filled with graffiti artists at work. I love it when festivals do this sort of thing. Throughout the day and night, you get to watch these artists bring their creations to life.

Cooper’s in the Rain
My destination was Cooper’s Bar-B-Que, but along the way, I stopped to admire the sights in Downtown Austin. The Contemporary has an interesting rooftop display of Art. There was construction going on. And I made it to Cooper’s just before the heavy rains came down.

Such a beautiful art installation. If you find yourself near Las Vegas, get out and see it.
Seven Magic Mountains from a Distance
This is an incredible art installation by Ugo Rondinone. Seven Magic Mountains can be discovered about ten miles south of Las Vegas. Make sure you have plenty of storage available in your camera, because if you are like me, you will wander the property and snap a ton of photos.

Vaquero
This Sculpture, among others, can be found at the end of the Waco Suspension Bridge. It is a great depiction of a Vaquero herding some longhorn cattle.
Hope Outdoor Gallery – Graffiti
Wow. Hope Outdoor Gallery was a super popular place to visit on this first day of the new year. Everyone was enjoying the sunny day and taking some photos of the artwork, along with the obligatory selfies. 🙂
