The Going-to-the-Sun Road has millions of opportunities for scenic photos. The clouds hanging over this pass caught my attention. What a beautiful drive!

Kalispell
I made it to Kalispell, Montana last night around midnight. Here is a shot of the Flathead County Courthouse . I am looking forward to exploring!
Commit
My mind is everywhere today while stranded in the airport with little sleep from the night before. I discovered the following in a Wikipedia article for William Hutchison Murray :
“… but when I said that nothing had been done I erred in one important matter. We had definitely committed ourselves and were halfway out of our ruts. We had put down our passage money— booked a sailing to Bombay. This may sound too simple, but is great in consequence. Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I learned a deep respect for one of Goethe’s couplets:
Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!”
The words are quite powerful and give reason to stop and think about your current life situation. “Begin it.”
Control Tower
Forgive me. I am trying to maintain sanity and stay awake during my layover in the Las Vegas airport. So far I have walked a lot, avoided the slot machines, eaten Pei Wei Kung Pao Chicken, and taken some random photos. This is my current view of the Control Tower. My next plan is to find an airport bar with NFL football.
Traveling
I am in a whole ‘nother place . But only for a few hours if all goes as planned…
Austin Airport
Convention Center
I shot this photo of the Austin Convention Center on my way out of downtown tonight. It looks kind of cool when it is lit up and empty like this.
Frost Bank Tower
This is probably one of the most photographed buildings in Austin. I went downtown to watch the football game and couldn’t resist taking some photos of the Frost Bank Tower . By the way, I am really liking the zoom capabilities of my new camera.
