Today was the Chalk Walk Festival in Downtown Round Rock. There was lots of great art, food, drink, live music, booths and a petting zoo complete with a baby pig. The weather was also perfect for strolling around and checking out the artist’s fine work.

I love chalk art but feel a little sad that they disappear quickly after all that effort. It’s lovely that artists share their work like this though.

You know, I was having the same thoughts yesterday. However, nothing beautiful in this world lasts forever. Like a rose blossom for example. I think we can just admire the beauty, maybe take a photo or two, and be thankful that the creator of the art was willing to share. 🙂
