I thought that this film was brilliant. Of course, I am a fan of John Carney, the director. “Once” is one of my favorite films, and “Begin Again” is a good flick to check out on Netflix. For this movie, a teenager with a life full of problems meets a girl, falls in like instantly, and invites her to participate in a music video for his band. The only problem is that he doesn’t have a band, but needs to create one fast to continue this connection with the girl of his dreams.

Agree totally. This is a joyful upbeat film that expresses youth’s unshakeable belief in the power of music….a great little gem from The Emerald Isle.
