I went for a walk around downtown Austin this evening and took some photos as usual. The weather has dropped into the mid 70’s and it is a nice change from the heat we have been experiencing into October. Austin has such a walkable downtown.

Mariachi Bar
I have seen lots of Mariachi bands in my life, but never before one with a harp player. These gentlemen crushed it at the Mariachi Bar in the Mi Tierra restaurant. 🙂
Riverwalk
St. Joseph Catholic Church
This church is right on the Riverwalk and was a great subject for some photos.
MadDogs
Today I am taking it easy and staying out of the sun as much as possible. I had a great time watching some football and chatting with the staff at MadDogs . This is one of my favorite bars along the Riverwalk and today’s visit was perfect.
Fountains
These fountains can be found outside the Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk. A nice cool oasis when walking around downtown San Antonio.

My last photography stop before heading back to my hotel was the Tower of the Americas . It is truly beautiful at night. 🙂
Capitol
Since it was such a beautiful night, and I was in the downtown area, I walked over to the Texas State Capitol for some exercise and some photos. Apparently, a lot of other people had the same idea. We were all enjoying the night and taking our best shots of the Capitol Building.
