After the Halloweenfest costume contest was decided, the crowd stuck around to see the decorated floats cruise by on the river.

Here are some of the entries in this evening’s costume contest at the Arneson River Theater on the San Antonio Riverwalk. The little lion tamer and her lion (dog) won first place and took home a check for $500. Congratulations to her and all of the other contestants!
Raining in Austin
There is some spooky hard rain in Austin today. For now, I am keeping dry at Maggie Maes and watching some football on Sixth Street. They also have some of their Halloween decorations up to enjoy.
