The Beatles
This Exhibit is at the LBJ Library in Austin until January of next year and there is plenty of memorabilia to entertain everyone. It covers the early years of Beatlemania, and brought back some memories for me. I think my favorite was the video of when they first played the Ed Sullivan Show back in 1964. Back then, almost everyone was crazy for The Beatles!
4th of July
Happy 4th of July from the Oval Office! Well, at least the replica found in the LBJ Presidential Library.
LBJ Library (interior)
The interior of the LBJ Library is also pretty cool. There are several exhibits from LBJ’s Presidency, including a mock up of the Oval Office. And now, they have an exhibit covering the 60’s with a jukebox full of songs you can play.
LBJ Library (exterior)
Today is Austin Museum Day , so I decided to visit two museums for free. The first museum is the LBJ Library . I will show you the exterior first. This is a great place for a picnic if you find yourself in the area.
