If you ever have the chance to see Tiësto, make sure you take advantage of the opportunity. His live set was wonderful.

Something Wicked – Borgeous
You know that if I am at a Festival, I am going to wander over and check out the Borgeous performance. This is required.
Something Wicked – Rezz
One of my favorite performers at the Something Wicked Festival was Rezz. She is always moving, always thumping, and has the most unique glasses of any DJ. If she comes to a venue near you, get out and support her.
Vallejo
The band Vallejo took the stage at this afternoon’s BBQ Cook-Off at Brushy Creek and proceeded to rock the place. This is nothing unusual for these guys.
Honk! TX
One of my favorite Austin events has come and gone. We were lucky on Saturday to not get rained on so the bands could play in the park and at Spider House Cafe. Honk! TX was a wonderful festival, as usual.
Sahara Lounge
My first ever visit to the Sahara Lounge on the East side of Austin. As a bonus, there was Marimba music. It was pretty awesome.
Austin’s New Year – By Night
If Austin throws a party with Ray Wylie Hubbard, and fireworks, and other fun activities, then you should probably attend.

Imagine Art
This event for the East Austin Studio Tour was pretty cool. Imagine Art is a large art space on the East side set up to assist artists with and without disabilities. As a bonus tonight, they hosted some performances by a classical music group called Tetractys. It was a good idea to mix the art exhibit with performance. Also, sock monkeys hold a special place in my heart.
