What to do when you are bored in the airport and probably sleep deprived? Start taking photos of random stuff. This sculpture is a Carla Moss piece called “Mountain Majesty”. You can find it on the first floor in all of its 17 foot glory.

Vacation Crushing

The sun sets behind where Allegiant Air Flight 501 should be. My original plane has mechanical problems and Allegiant is bringing another plane from Las Vegas. I hope my car rental and hotel reservations are still good to go. Allegiant Air is trying to crush my vacation, but I won’t let them.

Whitefish Lake

This photo was taken from Whitefish Lake State Park . I didn’t have much time to explore, due to my travel schedule, but wanted to at least have a look at the lake. Whitefish is the town just north of Kalispell with several hotel possibilities with easy access to the area parks.

Buffalo Cafe

I am traveling again today, so I needed a hearty (but late) breakfast. The Buffalo Cafe in Whitefish, Montana was the perfect place. I ordered Joe’s omelette – check out the menu on their website – and it was excellent.

Goodbye for now Montana. I hope to come back soon. I am feeling a little under the weather, but I am off on the second half of my vacation. Can you guess where I am going next?

Montana Snow

Today’s weather report for hiking in the Many Glacier area said a 100% chance of snow and a high temperature of 37 degrees. I think they got it right.

I can’t get enough of the skies in Montana. Every time you take a look, you are treated to another stunning view. I took so many photos today that my camera battery died and my camera raised the white flag of surrender. 🙂
