I rarely see movies twice in the theater, but I had to see this one at the IMAX before it moved on. It was so much more intertaining – especially the aerial fight scenes – on the large screen. Too cool.

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi
This film drops you directly into the middle of the Benghazi firefight. And that is probably the reason you find yourself in the theater anyway.

There are some crazy, crude Quentin Tarantino scenes in this film. If you are a fan of his, you will enjoy this movie.

Unbranded (on Netflix)
Good news. The documentary called “Unbranded” is available to watch on Netflix for now. As per a description on their website, “Four young Cowboys hatch an outrageous plot to adopt, train, and ride a string of wild mustangs 3,000 miles from Mexico to Canada through the wildest terrain of the American West.” This is one of my favorite documentary movies I saw this year, so see it while you can if you have a Netflix account. This is a good activity if you find yourself with some downtime over the Holidays, and I am totally enjoying the opportunity to view it again!

A young Bedouin boy sneaks out to follow along on an adventure of a lifetime. This film will not be enjoyed by all as it moves along with a deliberate pace and involves several violent scenes in the desert. Overall, I liked it.

Kaiju Attack!!!
The Univesity Hills Branch of the Austin Public Library had a Kaiju event this afternoon. They showed a Godzilla movie on the wall, had a cool dude in costume for photos, arts and crafts for the kids, snacks, action figures, and books for everyone to enjoy. Yes, it was totally a nerd fest…
