On a rainy Saturday afternoon, what better to do than to drop into Pinballz Arcade? Of course I would search out my favorite coin pushing game – Wizard of Oz. Today I was skilled or lucky, as I left the joint with lots of prize cards. They have all sorts of vintage games to play here and it is easy to get lost in the fun for a few hours as the storm clouds pass by. When you sit down ready to destroy the Wizard of Oz coin pusher game, and the flying monkey is smirking at you, you know you are going to have a rough evening of pushing those shiny things off of the ledge.
Yes, I have become sort of a regular customer at Pinballz since my first visit in September. I don’t know whether to curse or to thank Elaut Amusement Games – the creator of the Wizard of Oz Coin Pusher Game. It is addictively fun for some strange reason. I have collected most all of the player cards that fall off the edge including Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, Glinda the Good Witch, and the Wicked Witch of the West. The one card that continues to elude me is Toto. I’m pretty sure Toto has special powers in this game.
Glinda, the Good Witch of the North: Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?
Dorothy: I’m not a witch at all. I’m Dorothy Gale from Kansas.
Glinda, the Good Witch of the North: Oh. Well, is that the witch?
Dorothy: Who, Toto? Toto’s my dog!
By far, my favorite game at Pinballz Arcade was the Wizard of Oz Coin Pusher Game . As you can see in the pictures, you shoot coins into the game with the hopes of pushing prizes off the edge. The most valuable prize you can obtain are the Wizard of Oz cards. I told the Wicked Witch “I’ll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!” I did get her (along with several other cards). This game is so addicting!
Pinballz Arcade is not lying when they say they have pinball machines. There are a ton of them to play, and if you feel the need, you can purchase one for your home. Here are some pictures of my favorites they had in the arcade today.
Today, for a work event, my team met up at Pinballz Arcade in North Austin. We always make fun of one of the guys at work, because he has all the knowledge and all the answers like Zoltar. These pictures are for him.
