The Formula 1 Race is in town and they have this cool street party in downtown Austin called Fan Fest . There are bands, people, booths, bars and other fun stuff. This is one of those times when it is fun to live in Austin.

Deer
This deer was kind enough to allow me to take a few photos across the San Gabriel River on my sunset walk in Georgetown. Most awesome!
Sendero Springs Greenbelt
I tried out a new hiking trail this evening, and I struck Texas photography Gold (or at least Silver – I’ll let you decide). Butterflies, roses, windmills, sunsets and more! What a nice evening full of surprises. 🙂
Georgetown Square
I own this park bench on the corner of the Square in Georgetown. Mostly because I am so sweaty after my long walks on the hills of Georgetown that no one will dare to come near me. 🙂
Passiflora
At one public garden in Georgetown, the Passion Flowers are blooming like crazy. I stopped by here before my walk this evening.
Corn Hill Sunset
So it turns out that Corn Hill has some pretty nice sunsets. I was walking behind the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and in the Cemetery when the sun hit the horizon. These photos are the results.
Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Corn Hill
The Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Corn Hill was relatively close to my hike today. Having never seen this church, I thought I would try to get over there before the sun set. What great timing to wander around and take some photos.

This is what you find at the far end of the trails at Berry Springs Park and Preserve in Georgetown. Pretty cool, huh?
Austin
I went for a walk around downtown Austin this evening and took some photos as usual. The weather has dropped into the mid 70’s and it is a nice change from the heat we have been experiencing into October. Austin has such a walkable downtown.

So this happened tonight at the Riverwalk. What a nice carriage.
