The Christmas lights are up in the downtown Georgetown Square. The weather was perfect tonight, so everyone was walking around with their families taking pictures. This is a great location for that.

Domain Decorations
Hey y’all. The Christmas decorations are up at The Domain. That made for a pleasant evening stroll after stuffing my face and watching some football for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Texas Book Festival – Rainbow
Let this be a lesson to me – don’t be grumpy when you find yourself about a mile away from your car, with the umbrella in the trunk, and you are walking back in the rain. You never know when a magnificent rainbow will pop up out of nowhere to put an exclamation point on your awesome day in Austin. π
Mala Luna – The Walk
Today’s destination would be the Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio. My goal was to see Steve Aoki perform tonight. The Festival was about a mile and a half walk from my hotel, and I chose the path that would take me down the south portion of the Riverwalk. It was a nice walk with plenty of river sights and creatures to entertain me along the way.
Come Walk with Me
It is a relatively cool evening as the sun begins to set in Bartlett Texas. The town is mostly vacant, except for a few cars and trucks. Most of the shops have been boarded up with the exception of a couple of restaurants and antique stores. People have purchased or leased some of the downtown buildings to serve as their homes. The brick paved streets speak of another time. The town’s history indicates wealth from the cotton and railroad industries. Come and see some of the sights as I walk through this unique and interesting town.
Southtown
I took a long walk today through Southtown, an area of San Antonio just south of downtown. Sure there are art galleries, restaurants, grocery stores, and condos popping up all over, but my walk was to discover some of the older places that are still hanging on. It is a great place for walking and taking photos.
Sunset Walk
It was a lazy Sunday. I slept a lot, watched some football, ate a late lunch, and then went out to Lake Pflugerville for a sunset walk around the 3 mile loop.
