Buffalo Thunder is a Hilton Casino and Hotel just to the north side of Santa Fe. It is full of art from the area, and even if you are not a Casino fan, you should stop in for a visit. They have done a great job with this place.

Hutto Cotton Gin and Silos
The City of Hutto has a historic Cotton Gin. The city is located along Highway 79, just East of Round Rock and right along the railroad tracks. Beginning back in the late 1930s, farmers would come to Hutto and deliver their cotton crops. Today, on this overcast and cloudy evening, the biggest silo was a backdrop for the Sunset Music Series and a great band called Lost & Nameless. What a great idea!
Unity Plaza Tower
I stumbled upon this unique piece of public art tonight as I was walking towards Market Square in Downtown San Antonio. In fact, get ready for a few posts of my late night stroll through the city. I hope you like all of the photos.
Pancakes and Art
Pancakes (and Migas) for dinner! Kerbey Lane Cafe has the best pancakes. I picked the chocolate chip pancakes this evening. As a bonus, I got to enjoy the art by Linda Jacobson. Some day I will need to check out her Gallery in Wimberly, Texas.
Three Black Butterflies
It turns out that I am an Origami Master. Those three beautiful black butterflies were all created by me. Give it a try and test your skills with a square sheet of paper. The event today was called the 1,000 Cranes Origami Festival. It was a great idea for an event, and the Asian American Resource Center was packed with other skilled Origami Artists working their magic.
Faces of Humanity
As I have mentioned before, these photos are so good! Get over to the Asian American Resource Center before the Faces of Humanity exhibit is gone (until July 31st). Also, be sure to visit Ali Khataw’s website for some impressive photography.
Asian American Resource Center II
I attended an event at the Asian American Resource Center again today. Here are some photos from the outside and from the rock garden atrium in the center of the facility.
