When in Las Vegas, this hotel is a must see. Everything here is done right.

Lucky Cat
For a short time, the Cosmopolitan has an art installation called “Lucky Cat”. You meet Lucky Cat, you touch his paw for luck, and you receive your fortune. Some fortunes come with a prize – mine was ten dollars in slot play. My fortune was “Make the most of what you’re given”. That is great advice for anyone.
Wicked Spoon
The Wicked Spoon is one of the best buffets in Las Vegas. They do things a little different here. Most of the items on the buffet are cooked in individual servings in small pots or containers. Most yummy!
Level 107 Lounge
I went to the Level 107 Lounge to get a drink, partake of the half priced appetizers, see DJ Girl 6, and photograph the nighttime view of the Vegas Strip from the Observation Deck. Overall, a very chill night. 🙂
Frankie Moreno
I was thrilled to find out that Frankie Moreno still had his show in Vegas. If you are nearby, you have until Saturday night to catch him. After that, he is on to bigger and better things. He can sing, dance, play the guitar, play the harmonica, crush the piano, get the crowd involved, pass out free bottles of champagne, and flat out entertain like no other Vegas performer.
Wynn II
I had to use my final week of vacation at work or lose the vacation time on January 1st. I searched for a place of interest, and couldn’t beat the prices offered in Las Vegas. My first stop was the Wynn. One of my favorite hang-outs in Vegas.
Hard Rock – Biloxi III
Here are some parting shots from the Hard Rock. I really like the quote from Alex Van Halen.
“Fall Seven Times
Get Up Eight”
I left Biloxi today and approximately 422 miles later, arrived in Houston. That was a lot of driving!
Mornings
Mornings are not a good time. Have you ever taken a terrible photo because you were too lazy to make it an awesome photo? Here is my most recent example of this concept. If only I had fully woken up, thrown on some clothes, and gone outside with my camera (maybe to the top corner of the parking garage), I would have been rewarded with a lovely sunrise photo. Like I said, mornings are not a good time.
Hard Rock – Biloxi II
“Love All – Serve All”. I have admired this concept since I first walked into a Hard Rock and saw it written on the wall. 🙂
Hard Rock – Biloxi
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Biloxi is a crazy place. The rooms are not very expensive this time of year – if you don’t lose too much money in the casino. As you may be able to tell from the photos, the rooms are super nice with windows overlooking either the city of Biloxi or the Gulf of Mexico. I could spend hours in the walk through two headed shower. Maybe I will break out my Kindle with the waterproof cover and read for a while in the shower. 🙂
