Vantage Point – “a place or position affording a good view of something”. One day I will find a place in Round Rock that offers an excellent view of sunsets and weather events. Until then, you will be getting photos like these.

Overcast
Attending a classical guitar concert this evening, and stopped along the way at the top of the hill to take some photos of Austin on this cloudy day. Everything is so green after the weekend rains.
Orange & Pink & Blue Clouds
This evening it was time for a short walk across the dam in Georgetown. There were some cool clouds about.
Sweetwater Wind Farm
I drove through West Texas today in route to a whole ‘nother state. The wind farms along the highways are most impressive. I pulled off onto a dirt road near Sweetwater, Texas. It rained a little bit while I took some photos and stood in awe watching these huge machines. The songs they sing as their blades spin are both eerie and enchanting.
Westech 360
Westech 360 is the office park located at the bottom of the Steck Valley Greenbelt. It has the art piece called “Angle at 19.5 degrees” along with cool opportunities for photos with reflections of clouds. 🙂
Plaka Greek Cafe
The skies were blue and white this evening as was the Flag of Greece flying over the Plaka Greek Cafe. This restaurant is one of my favorites for Greek food north of Austin. Today’s dinner was the #10 – Pot Roast Plate. Yummy. Come and check it out if you find yourself in Georgetown sometime.
Skylight
There were some thunder clouds rolling through the area this evening, so I thought I would go for a walk around Pflugerville Lake to catch some awesome photos. It turns out that my view from the booth at Souper Salad was better. Funny how these things work out sometimes. 🙂
Great Hills Sunset
There was a nice sunset today off of Great Hills Trail in Austin. 🙂
Wild Basin – Scenic Overlook
By the time I reached the scenic overlook at Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve, the storm clouds were building. Lucky for me, I snapped some photos, hung out with a friendly rabbit, and made it back to the car just before the storm. Good timing, indeed!
Watercolor
I took a walk around Huston Tillotson University this afternoon, and this scene caught my attention. I figured it was a good opportunity to play with the Watercolor adjustment of the Pixlr App. Do you prefer the original or the edited version?
