When the temperature is in the upper 80s in San Antonio, you limit your walking about and find a spot where you can enjoy an iced green tea.

San Antonio Aquarium
This place is relatively small, but full of wonder. My favorite creatures today were the two free range turtles. One was “running” laps around the gift shop and the other one was having his way with the kids birthday area. They were both pretty large and not at all shy when it came to bumping you out of their way if you were caught in their path. The San Antonio Aquarium also had a Mermaid, Dinosaurs, Lorikeets, Seahorses, Manta Rays, a Pacific Octopus, Jellyfish, and plenty of other cool stuff. It is a great place to spend an afternoon.
Two-Tailed Mermaid
This is a nice, calm, slow afternoon. Drinking Vanilla Bean Frappuccino at Starbucks and learning about the origin of the Starbuck’s Mermaid. I took a few photos and then used the Pixlr App to add some effects to one of them. I just wish this drink had some caffeine, because now I am getting very sleepy.
You Are an Original
Mexic-Arte Museum
If you live in America, you have been cheated out of fun all this time. You have been playing boring Bingo with combinations of letters and numbers like “B-12”. All along, Mexico has had a cooler version called Lotería with awesome picture cards like La Muerte (“Death”) and La Sirena (“The Mermaid”). I learned more about this today at the Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, and took some photos to help enlighten the rest of the planet. Now you can jettison your Bingo cards and pick up Lotería cards to replace them. You can thank me later with a small portion of your winnings. ¡Buena suerte! 🙂
