Besides the beautiful San Gabriel River sunset, can you spot the three Herons? Now that we have experienced “Fall Back” there will be more evening walking, and less evening hiking. I have to get out of work on time to get a nice walk in before dark. And you don’t want to get caught out after dark when all the monsters start terrorizing the neighborhood.
Here are a series of walking around photos from Wurstfest in New Braunfels. This is one of my favorite festivals of the year – music, food, drinks, costumes, and too much fun for one place.
I travelled to New Braunfels today for some fun. My first stop was the New Braunfels Art League for an art contest.
It was First Friday at The Williamson Museum in Georgetown, so I thought I would drop in and have a look. It is located in an old bank building on the Square. For some reason, I fell in like with the historic safes on display. They were cool.
The Round Rock ArtSpace had their First Thursday Art Reception this evening, and it featured Día de los Muertos art and artists. My favorite painting was called “Bella Catrina” by Jennifer Estes. Also, if you find yourself near Round Rock this Saturday, there will be a celebration downtown in the evening.
