You probably can’t tell from the photos, but there are two motorcycles spinning around at full speed inside the so called “Globe of Death”. Tonight, there was no death from what I could see. It was most impressive!

Diamond Fest – Ferris Wheel
There is a carnival going on in the parking lot of the Dell Diamond called Diamond Fest . They have it all, including rides, food, games, a puppet show, a motorcycle show, a petting zoo, pig races, and a Prince cover band. My favorite ride this evening was the Ferris Wheel and the awesome sunset views from the top. 🙂
Boardwalk
I had an event in downtown Austin again today, so afterwards I went for a long walk on the relatively new Boardwalk Trail . These photos are mostly from the East side of the trail (East of I-35). As you can tell, it is still cloudy and a bit rainy in Austin.
I Love Indigo
This art exhibit at the library caught me by surprise. The artist is Debra King-Isaacs and she is based in Round Rock. She uses “vintage materials salvaged from old homes, farms and ranches across Texas.” Check it out!
Round Rock Public Library
It has been raining here all day, so I decided to go to the Round Rock Public Library to read and chill. There is this cool mural that I have always liked.
RunKeeper
I tested out a new App today while walking in Georgetown. It is called RunKeeper , and you can use it to track your exercise. In case you find a deep desire to stalk me, I am usually walking this path in Georgetown one, two, three, or four times a week. Just look for the big, sweaty dude. 🙂
Walburg German Restaurant
After a day of hiking, what could be better than a buffet at the Walburg German Restaurant ? This place is a little bit north of Georgetown, Texas. Tonight, the buffet included items like Bratwurst, Wienerschnitzel, German Homefries, Shrimp, Grilled Salmon on Rice, Brisket, Potato Soup, Salad and Baked Bread. And of course I couldn’t leave without sampling the Homemade Black Forest Cake. Yummy!

Chalk Ridge Falls Park – River Hike
These pictures are from the hike along the Lampasas River at Chalk Ridge Falls Park. I saw several animals and birds along this section of the trail. If you like to fish, this is probably a good area. To hike through this section, just cross the wobbly suspension bridge and follow the red trail markers.
