Hana Yoree

My friends took me to a new place for lunch today, Hana Yoree inside the Hana World Market in North Austin. The food was Korean, and I had number 23 “Bul Go Gi – Korean style BBQ beef with rice”. I never would have known they were hiding a Food Court up in here. If you are a fan of Korean food, or just want to try something new (and relatively inexpensive), check it out.

Round Rock

IMG_3717

The Round Rock is a little piece of history in this town. According to Wikipedia:

“In 1851, a small community was formed on the banks of Brushy Creek, near a large round and anvil-shaped rock located in the middle of the creek. This round rock marked a convenient low-water crossing for wagons, horses, and cattle. The first postmaster called the community “Brushy,” and the creek was called “Brushy Creek”. But in 1854, at the suggestion of the postmaster, the small settlement was renamed Round Rock in honor of this now famous rock.”

You can find the Rock in the middle of Brushy Creek, just off the Interstate. Once you visit, you can check it off of your list of things to do in life. 🙂

Game of Thrones IMAX Experience

IMG_3696

This was the coolest. Game of Thrones episodes at the IMAX. They showed season 4, episode 9 “The Watchers on the Wall” and episode 10 “The Children”. The battle scenes, the love scenes, and all the rest were excellent on the IMAX screen. You have until February 5th to catch this spectacle, so get out there and have some fun!
