Some Sundays are just meant for rest. I think I am pushing a little too hard on the workouts, so my body just wanted total relaxation today. I did go out into the world this evening for some food and a late grocery store trip. Apparently, the local HEB is gearing up for Valentine’s Day. 🙂
I rarely see movies twice in the theater, but I had to see this one at the IMAX before it moved on. It was so much more intertaining – especially the aerial fight scenes – on the large screen. Too cool.
Would you do this? Clara Bensen from Austin met someone on OKCupid (a story in itself as this dude lived in a dumpster for a year) and then they decided to take a three week summer trip to Europe with the clothes on their back and a few necessities stuffed in pockets and a purse. On the flight out, a flight attendant asked a great question – “What will you wear when you’re washing your clothes?” Anyway, she survived and wrote a book about her adventures. I think I know what I am reading next when I finish the one I am working on now. If I get a chance to catch them in Austin, I will let you know what happens. For now, I am thinking about planning a trip somewhere.
This is the best we can do in Central Texas. We watch your photos from the North East Coast (and other cold weather places) in awe of the piles of snow. We travel to places like Colorado just to ski, snowboard, and play in the snow. Here it is 32 degrees Fahrenheit in the morning and 71 degrees Fahrenheit in the afternoon. If you hurry out to your car in the morning, before it warms up, you can get a glimpse of frost on the windshield and dream of the last time you caught snowflakes on your tongue.

I have discovered that the secret to good photography is to place a sunrise or a sunset behind just about anything. Or to photograph cute babies or cuddly critters, but I am not very good at that. Now, if you can place a sunset behind a cuddly critter, then you can apply for a gig at National Geographic. 🙂
EDM concerts are so much fun! My strategy is to jam up as close to the stage as possible and enjoy the music and the energy. If you have the opportunity to see Borgeous or Morgan Page or DELORA while they tour North America, you should jump at it. These performers are wonderful, and the music is great. Here are some photos to give you an idea of what happened at Emo’s in Austin last night.
When you step out the front door and the full moon is shining over the neighborhood, you figure that things are going to happen tonight. 🙂
This book was a pretty fast read.  It tells a James Bond story set in 1957 and includes adventures like Grand Prix racing in Germany and a space race rocket launch from the Virginia coastline.  As a bonus, Trigger Mortis contains previously unpublished material from Ian Fleming that Anthony Horowitz has been able to weave into this story.  If you are a James Bond fan, then go and find this novel.
