Vegas Sights
I still have some vacation time to burn before the end of the year, so I flew off to Las Vegas for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Here are some photos from my walking about this evening.
Bellagio Fountains
Liz Carpenter Fountain
The Liz Carpenter Fountain is located in Butler Park, just outside of the Palmer Events Center in Austin. It is a fun splash pad in warm weather, and a great photo opportunity in the colder weather at sunset. Of course, I wandered through the fountain with my camera and got splashed by some surprise water jets.
Jean Philippe Patisserie
Ever had the desire to see the world’s largest chocolate fountain? You can find it at Jean Philippe Patisserie in the Bellagio. They have snacks, drinks, desserts, and of course – lots of chocolate. They have cakes on display of all sorts and my favorite one was Olaf sitting in the top corner of the restaurant. I ordered a large white mocha and slurped it down on my way to my next Las Vegas destination.
Bellagio Fountains II
You can always find me admiring the Fountains of Bellagio. My favorite show is now the one designed by Tiesto. Check out the link to see a video that gives you an idea of what his Fountain show is like. Enjoy!

Bayou Bend Gardens – Fountains
I guess it is not cool to zoom around the gardens and try to jump the fountains?
Long Drive
I just drove a little over 435 miles! There were a few stops along the way, including the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens in the River Oaks area of Houston.
Fountains
These fountains can be found outside the Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk. A nice cool oasis when walking around downtown San Antonio.
