My favorite part of this movie was learning about the natural phenomena of “Das Wolkenphänomen von Maloja” or the “Maloja Snake”. This is a cloud bank that moves its way along a valley in the Alps and has been compared to a giant dragon or the largest boa constrictor in the world. The scenery in the Alps is absolutely wonderful!
As the sun set on downtown Round Rock, it was time to meet up at the Main Street Plaza for the Daytripper Round Rock Premier Party. Chet Garner, AKA “The Daytripper“, was meeting and greeting his fans, running around organizing last minute things, raffling off free goodies, making sure everyone was fed, taking photos with people, and smiling and having fun the whole time. When it was almost dark, he thanked the guitar player and introduced his show about Round Rock. We all watched the half hour episode with interest for our home town places and its history. If you find yourself sitting around looking for something to do, check out his website for some travel ideas in Texas. If you want to take the easy way, look for his popular bus trips and get some Texas exploring done with Chet as your most capable host.
Here we have most of the usual suspects, but I really liked James Spader’s portrayal of Ultron.
This is the best vampire movie from Iran that I have ever seen. The vampire is the coolest ever. You can catch it on Netflix if you have an account.
If you are feeling a little bit sick, and you think you might be catching a cold, then it is a good idea to go see a kids movie (or to rent a movie, or to watch one on television) to lift your spirits. When the movie is over, it is not necessarily a good idea to walk to the very front and take a photo while facing the projector. If you attempt this, then please bring sunglasses. 🙂

Big Hero Six. That was fun, except they didn’t let me dunk on the basketball hoops. 🙂
I found this to be a very good science fiction movie. It makes you think at least a little bit about the future of mankind.

A nice version of the classic story.
The IMAX Theater in Austin is always cool. Especially on a rainy day.
