Strength

The inspirational word of the day is “Strength”.  Yes, I am guilty of hitting up the Art*o*mat again.  The Little Inspirations series is a creation of Nicole Arnold.  I was looking for an earth shattering inspiration, but will make do with this simple one.  This one is appropriate for me since I sat through some more crazy dental procedures today.  I will need some strength for the next few days as the pain slowly subsides.  :-/

Andy’s Frozen Custard

IMG_0352

Whose idea was it to put this lovely place just down from the 24 Hour Fitness?  Andy’s Frozen Custard is a most awesome establishment!  Just take a look at the menu.  My selection today was the Triple Chocolate Concrete – “Chocolate frozen custard blended with chocolate chip cookie dough and melted chocolate chip.”  Yummy.

Star Wars Uprising

IMG_0215

At the beginning of the year, I was checking out the typical lists for best Apps of 2015.  One game, Star Wars Uprising, was included on many of the lists.  I tried it out and got hooked.  If you are a fan of Star Wars, give this one a try.  It is free, simple in concept, playable on a mobile device, and seems to have a good storyline backing it up.  Enjoy!

24 Hour Fitness

IMG_0348

It worked!  I had a membership to a 24 Hour Fitness club in Round Rock that was classified as a “Sport” club.  In the process of reviewing my budget (thanks Mint App) and checking prices online, I discovered that the current rate at the “Super Sport” Club in Pflugerville was less than what I was paying.  I didn’t think they would allow me to switch, but the groovy folks in Pflugerville were able to hook me up.  So now, I have a membership that allows me to use both clubs for a much lower monthly fee.  This will be an improvement for my budget and an improvement for my physique (if I can get to the gym on a regular basis).  I am totally excited about today’s bargain!

Local Guides II

IMG_0343

Hey y’all – it worked!  I just got the e-mail today.  I added a lot of cool content to Google Maps (and it was kind of fun) and they rewarded me with 1 TB of storage.  Now I can totally blow up my Google Photos account.  If you are interested, check out my previous blog post or check out the description of the benefits for Local Guides.  I hope they offer the program in your part of the world.  Like I said before, if you find yourself on the way to becoming an awesome Local Guide and getting rewards, you can thank me later.  🙂
