I went to the Austin Aquarium today. If you go, they have a small walk in aviary with several Rainbow Lorikeets. They were so much fun. They wanted to check you out from shoestrings to ear lobes. They would play, dive and wrestle on the floor with each other. They were certainly worth the price of admission, along with all the sea creatures. 🙂
Today was exciting. I took a picture of a wall.
I guess this is movie weekend.  Some of my friends wanted to see The Hundred-Foot Journey and it turned out to be a good choice.  I really like the tag line in the poster “Life’s greatest journey begins with the first step”.  This is true for any challenge you face.  Go ahead and take that step if it is time.  🙂
My roommate and I went for a swim this morning and I took the opportunity to test the underwater capabilities of my new camera.
I am lucky to have this view several times a week. Downtown Georgetown is where I launch my long walks to the River and back. You can find me in the evenings sitting on a bench in the Georgetown Square, all sweaty and jamming to some music with my headphones in my ears. The hardest decision of the day. French Vanilla or Vanilla Bean? The iced coffee here is pretty good. Add in the bagels, free refills, nice people and some wireless, and you have a few excuses to check it out on a regular basis.
This is one of my favorite places for tea in Austin. Today’s selection for me was “Moroccan Mint. Chinese Gunpowder green with spearmint.” If you like hot tea, check it out. 🙂
