Some pretty yummy chicken can be found at Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken. One of the most casual joints in downtown Austin. My dinner consisted of chicken tenders, baked beans, mac & cheese, sweet tea, chocolate chess pie, and vanilla Blue Bell ice cream. A perfect Southern meal.

Citizen Alert…
Hello citizens of Austin. If you have lost your cuddly lion toy, it can now be found on the South side of Town Lake just before you step onto the new Boardwalk Trail, as some kind soul has placed it on a wall for safe keeping. As a secondary alert, the rains are over for now and sunny weather is predicted for the trail for today and tomorrow.

Twitter Unsquishes Photos
So Twitter is taking a small step in the right direction. Has it ever annoyed you that your Twitter feed only showed part of a photo and you had to tap on the photo to view the full image? When I tested my tree photo today, it appears normally on the Twitter desktop site, but it appears cropped in the Twitter App for iOS. Here’s hoping they can also make the App more visually appealing so I will become more likely to tweet photos directly instead of instagramming them.
