If you take the MetroRail to Downtown Austin and back, these are some of the sights you can see.

Lago Vista Sunset
I headed over to the Bar-K Park for some walking and to check out the sunset. The sunset was wonderful.
TesseraÂ
I drove out to Lago Vista in search of some good hiking trails, but my first stop at Tessera on Lake Travis didn’t provide what I was hoping for. There were some awesome views to take in, however.
Lamp
If you eat too much Conans Pizza and linger in the booth a little too long, you just might start taking lamp photos and posting them on the internets. :-O

Westech 360
Westech 360 is the office park located at the bottom of the Steck Valley Greenbelt. It has the art piece called “Angle at 19.5 degrees” along with cool opportunities for photos with reflections of clouds. 🙂
Steck Valley Greenbelt
It is starting to cool a bit in Austin (only 95 degrees today), so I decided to go for a short hike. Steck Valley Greenbelt consists of a walk downhill to a small creek bed. You will find some mossy spots, some rocky bits, and areas of the trail out in the sunshine. At the bottom of the trail it spits you out into an office park located along the 360 Highway. From there, it is a short climb back to the trailhead. Just the right length for a quick evening jaunt.

International Music FestivalÂ
I saw four great bands today at the International Music Festival put on by the Texas Music Museum.
- Indrajit Banerjee and Sri Gourisankar – Indian Music
- Kunitan – Andean Music
- Batuque Raiz – Brazilian Music
- Flying Balalaika Brothers – Russian Music
I was surprised to discover that the two gentlemen playing the sitar and tabla were my favorite music of the afternoon. You can find them on the Internet and YouTube if you are interested in hearing their music.
