I saw these while walking around the Domain tonight. Pretty cool.

International Coffee Day
Yes, today is International Coffee Day and I am celebrating by drinking a beverage (not coffee) at Cianfrani Coffee Company in Georgetown, Texas. I already had too much coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts earlier today. It may not be too late for you, depending on where you find yourself today – “On 9/29, get a free medium Hot Dark Roast Coffee in honor of America’s favorite holiday.” Happy celebrating!
Jacob’s Well YouTube
I looked around on YouTube this afternoon for a good video of Jacob’s Well and found this one. It gives you a better idea of the size of the swimming hole and some of the fun that people have out there. Thanks to the creator of this video, and I hope you enjoy it.
Driftwood
A few scenes from my drive through Driftwood , Texas this afternoon. A lovely place just outside of Austin.
Jacob’s Well
It was a nice day for a drive today, so I went to check out Jacob’s Well , near Wimberly. From the parking area, it is a short walk to the artesian spring. The opening to the swimming hole is only about 12 feet, so it is not a very large place to swim. It is currently closed to swimming, but there were a few people breaking the rules, and a handful of scuba divers descending into the spring. The water was very clear and inviting.
Capitol
Since it was such a beautiful night, and I was in the downtown area, I walked over to the Texas State Capitol for some exercise and some photos. Apparently, a lot of other people had the same idea. We were all enjoying the night and taking our best shots of the Capitol Building.
Pecan Street Festival
So the Pecan Street Festival is happening this weekend on Sixth Street. As you can tell from the pictures, it was an overcast and cool day with a few sprinkles scattered in for fun. Booths, bands, food, drink, people and their pets made for an interesting day.

Stayin’ Alive
The things I do when I can’t sleep…
Bee Gees “Stayin’ Alive” . OK, I will give you a few choices.
1). The Extended Remaster with scenes from “Saturday Night Fever”.
2). The Extended Remember Remix.
3). The original.
Life goin’ nowhere.
Somebody help me.
Somebody help me, yeah.
Wizard of Oz
By far, my favorite game at Pinballz Arcade was the Wizard of Oz Coin Pusher Game . As you can see in the pictures, you shoot coins into the game with the hopes of pushing prizes off the edge. The most valuable prize you can obtain are the Wizard of Oz cards. I told the Wicked Witch “I’ll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!” I did get her (along with several other cards). This game is so addicting!
