Tonight was Friday Night Slides where they keep the Hawaiian Falls park open until 10:00 pm. It was my first time here, and this place is totally fun. They had a DJ who controlled the music throughout the entire park and kept it upbeat at all times. There was an outdoor dance floor, Zip lines, water slides, an elevated ropes course, a wave pool, a lazy river for floating, sandy beaches for lounging, food, and drink. Next Friday, they will do it all again. š
We decided to check out this Joint in Downtown Round Rock for Happy Hour today. The Thursday special was $1 off Tequilas and Mexican Beers, so we enjoyed the Dos Equis.
Rebecca Ferguson makes this movie great. Without her, it would have been just another Mission: Impossible flick. The stunts and the filming process are also most excellent!

The Summer Musical at the Zilker Hillside Theater this year is Hairspray. As usual, they do an awesome job. In this one, they sing, dance, fall in love, protest, and end up in jail among other things. Check it out if you find yourself in Austin.
The UFC fights brought everyone out to Bombshells tonight to watch the Main Event. Ronda Rousey did not disappoint – unless you were looking for a fight that would last beyond 34 seconds into the first round. She is simply amazing! It was nice to sit out on the patio and enjoy all the action.
I met some more friendly fish while hiking a different section of Bull Creek this afternoon. The scenery along this creek hike is beautiful. And as a bonus, if you get too hot, just immerse yourself in the nice, clear water to cool yourself off in the Texas Summer heat.
Today’s hot hike was launched from Bull Creek District Park in weather beyond 100 degrees Farenheit. I walked a short way along the Inga VanNynatten Memorial Trail, then plunged into Bull Creek and took it as far as the super hot day would allow. Along the way there were plenty of people and their dogs enjoying the cool creek water.
