Twitter Unsquishes Photos
So Twitter is taking a small step in the right direction. Has it ever annoyed you that your Twitter feed only showed part of a photo and you had to tap on the photo to view the full image? So, Twitter announced that they are refining the media experience. Skatepark Fundraiser
My real reason for visiting Taylor, Texas today was the Skatepark Fundraiser put on by Project Loop. Over 150 artists contributed art on skateboards to help raise money for the kids of Taylor to build a skatepark. What an innovative way to put some funds together! The favorite skateboard art amongst the younger set was the “Operation” skateboard that lit up the patient’s red nose when the operation hit the guard rails. I had to fight the kids to get a photo of that board. My personal favorite was the moon man jumping asteroid craters. “SK8 or DONT” π
Taylor Train Station
The Taylor Train Station is a good place to catch a sunset and to wait for your train to arrive. The train tracks run parallel to Highway 79, and on your way to Taylor, you may get the opportunity to race a train locomotive that is pulling several rail cars behind it.

Louie Mueller Barbecue II
“Please form line.” I got lucky today. Zipped right in and ordered my brisket, pork ribs, and beans. The food was awesome, and the line was short. Louie Mueller Barbecue is the best!
