Chalk Walk
Today was the Chalk Walk Festival in Downtown Round Rock. There was lots of great art, food, drink, live music, booths and a petting zoo complete with a baby pig. The weather was also perfect for strolling around and checking out the artist’s fine work.
Sweetwater
Photos (probably too many) from a walk around downtown Sweetwater, Texas. I hope you enjoy them. If you haven’t been to Texas before, this will give you an idea of what a small town here looks like.
Nighttime Walk
Rooftop Pizzeria
As I was walking the streets, alleys, and nooks of Santa Fe, a lovely smell of fresh baked pizza drifted down from the third floor of a small shopping center. I found my way upstairs and discovered Rooftop Pizzeria. I picked out a corner table on the balcony, with a view of the city below and the moon above. My choice for dinner was the Linguine Alfredo – “locally grown green chile, roast chicken with creamy Alfredo over linguine.” As you can imagine, dinner was great!
Another Santa Fe Sunset…
Loretto Chapel
The Loretto Chapel is just another beautiful old Catholic Church to be found in downtown Santa Fe. Both the exterior and interior are awe inspiring.
Daytime Walk
New Mexico Museum of Art
The New Mexico Museum of Art is a nice respite from the afternoon heat in downtown Santa Fe. There are sculptures, paintings, and other items of interest to keep you engaged. As an added bonus, the pueblo architecture is amazing.
Saint Francis Cathedral
The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi or Saint Francis Cathedral is a beautiful piece of history located about a block away from the Downtown Santa Fe Plaza.
