Hawaiian Falls

IMG_5297

Tonight was Friday Night Slides where they keep the Hawaiian Falls park open until 10:00 pm.  It was my first time here, and this place is totally fun.  They had a DJ who controlled the music throughout the entire park and kept it upbeat at all times.  There was an outdoor dance floor, Zip lines, water slides, an elevated ropes course, a wave pool, a lazy river for floating, sandy beaches for lounging, food, and drink.  Next Friday, they will do it all again.  ðŸ™‚

Toobin’

One of the best parts of summer around here is to float one of our beautiful rivers.  I returned to the San Marcos River and rented my tube from Lions Club Tube Rental and River Shuttle Service.  This trip is about an hour long float and ends at a set of rapids.  Super fun!

Three Black Butterflies

IMG_5137

It turns out that I am an Origami Master.  Those three beautiful black butterflies were all created by me.  Give it a try and test your skills with a square sheet of paper.  The event today was called the 1,000 Cranes Origami Festival.  It was a great idea for an event, and the Asian American Resource Center was packed with other skilled Origami Artists working their magic.
