Bee
This bee was working overtime today and not much bothered with my presence. He did a pretty good job of getting himself covered with pollen dust while searching for more on this groovy purple flower.

Art City Austin II
It was a beautiful day in the city to have the Art City Austin event. There were tons of artists displaying their wares, lots of music to enjoy, and some spectacular views of the city. Overall, a pretty cool way to spend a Sunday.
Eeyore’s Birthday II
Out in the woods of Pease Park for the 53rd Annual Celebration of Eeyore’s Birthday Party. Austin throws some pretty good parties. 🙂
Cream Whiskers
Oh wow! Check out this place! What you see here is the Choco-Whip Brownie along with a cup of green tea. Cream Whiskers is a pretty yummy place to pop into.
Evening at the Domain
If you go walking at the Domain on a Friday evening, you can experience several things. You can stop and admire the red roses. You can catch a rock band playing on the Great Lawn stage. Drop in at Flaming Pizza and build your own pizza creation. Make friends with a grackle who really just wants to taste a bit of your pizza. And as you walk back, you can catch the sun as it begins to set behind the power lines. Not too bad for a Friday evening.
Mel’s Lone Star Lanes
This is a great bowling alley. Mel’s Lone Star Lanes has it all – bowling, good food, drinks, an arcade with prizes, and a sports bar area for adults. I need to return soon and win 2000 tickets for one of those dinosaurs.
Three Cactus Flowers
I ran across a single large cactus today that had three awesome yellow blooms in the works. Here is a photo of each flower.
Twin Lakes Park
Twin Lakes Park is full of facilities for adults and kids. It even has its own YMCA. But if you get away from things and walk along the lakesides, you can find beauty.
